Before working with Dave I had chronic pain in my hip from running that caused pain not only when I exercised, but when I would walk as well. For two months I walked with a limp. I tried every hip stretch and exercise that I could find and nothing seemed to help, even abstaining from physical activities for extended period of times wasn't a remedy. Dave identified the cause of my particular pain, helped me in our session to release the tension in my muscles that was causing the pain, and showed me what exercises and stretches to do at home in order to keep the pain away. I haven't walked, or ran, with any pain since!

Before working with David, I was struggling with upper back and shoulder pain. I would get quick fixes going to a massage therapist or rolling out my own back, but the pain and tension would always return. David was able to find the source of the pain right away by analyzing how I moved and how I held my posture. My rotator cuffs ended up being the problem, which I had never even considered. Not only did he work out my problem areas, he taught me GREAT exercises to help keep my shoulders in check. I noticed a difference right away. David is kind, efficient, and specific. I would recommend him to anyone!

I had multiple injuries resulting from performing in a very physical Broadway play for 16 months. Neck problems, hamstrings and hip issues, severe ankle sprain and more. Dave not only relieved the immediate pain and discomfort each time he treated me but also provided me with a number useful exercises to strengthen the problematic areas to avoid reoccurring injures in future. Working on Broadway, it's a requirement to get through the show by whatever means possible and if it wasn't for Dave and his skill and knowledge I would have had to miss multiple performances, lose out on a significant amount of money and would probably have injuries that stayed with me for the rest of my life. I have been treated by countless physical therapist, chiropractors and osteopaths in my 15 year career on the stage and David Miller is my therapist of choice.

David Miller is hands down the BEST Physical Therapist I’ve ever had. Before I worked with him, I was experiencing an ongoing rotator cuff issue—a deep-seated, chronic pain in my left shoulder when I did certain movements, and I had worked with several different PT’s earlier last year. It was diagnosed as bursitis inflammation in my R.C. plus a shoulder impingement in the front of my shoulder. Due to this pain, I had trouble doing exercises I normally do (I tend to be active frequently during the week), and doing simple things like the motion of taking your shirt off over your head. Add to this that I’m an actor and was doing an intensely active show with fight choreography and well...it was a perfect recipe for exacerbating the issue I came into the show with. I started working with Dave as one of the PT’s for our show, and he stood out from the others as he was always able to seemingly go straight to the areas of the pain, whereas the others kind of danced around the areas of pain and I had to do a lot of directing them to where the pain was. Additionally, he showed me stretches that other PT’s hadn’t shown me before that proved very beneficial not just to my shoulder issue, but for better mobility in my neck, back, and even legs. It helped immensely with the intense work I was doing in the show, and improved the exacerbation of my shoulder issue. My shoulder still hurts when doing certain movements, but I have no doubt it would have gotten much worse had it not been for Dave’s consistent, targeted, vastly knowledgeable work. He was able to provide me with detailed knowledge as to what was going on and how it was connected to everything else. With other PT’s earlier last year, KT just felt like they were using a one-size-fits all approach with some massage and some stretches that didn’t seem to be improving anything, and they never provided me with such details about what was going on. He is a consummate professional. Now with having had Dave’s service, I have increased mobility and my shoulder doesn’t hurt when I’m just sitting doing nothing, which it used to do a lot toward the beginning of the show. I would very highly recommend his services!
