What Other People Just Like You Are Saying About Miller Physical Therapy…

Taline overcame leg pain and is now walking, running and exercising again without pain.

"Nothing seemed to help, even abstaining from physical activities for extended period of times wasn't a remedy. Miller Physical Therapy identified the cause of my particular pain, helped me in our session to release the tension in my muscles that was causing the pain, and showed me what exercises and stretches to do at home in order to keep the pain away. I haven't walked, or ran, with any pain since!"

Megan has improved her knee pain and is now exercising with significantly reduced chronic pain.

"Miller Physical Therapy has been the only physical therapy service to identify the root cause of my lifelong injuries and struggles. In just a few sessions with them I have seen immense improvement; my pain and inflammation have diminished in a way I never thought possible without surgery. Not to mention they are very personable and professional; I actually enjoy going to physical therapy for the first time! I would definitely recommend them to anyone searching for great physical therapy."

Are you frustrated by knee pain? Are you disappointed because knee pain is keeping you from going to gym or running, or making your commutes unbearable? Is it interfering with family or leisure time after a long day of work? Do you find yourself wasting valuable hours in your week going to multiple appointments to ease your pain, and feeling let down by the result?

Years before I became a Physical Therapist, I took up running as exercise.  After a few weeks of running only a couple miles a day, I developed terrible pain in both knees that kept me from running at all.  In fact, even walking was painful.  During my training to become a Physical Therapist, I learned how valuable getting the right help would have been when this happened. Instead, I listened to friends and family tell me everything from "rest and take some Tylenol" to "push through it, you're just sore" (which was the worst advice I got for sure). I now understand how the pain was actually a hip and core problem that I can treat on my own and without medication.

It is fundamentally important to find a way to keep my body moving and exercising and I've learned to not shy away from movement and exercise if I get pain. Instead, I identify the cause of my pain and how to correct it and not just treat the symptoms.

This is how we approach treating injuries at Miller Physical Therapy. We focus on a comprehensive diagnosis and evaluation of your entire body. We make a detailed assessment of how you move and help you return to your everyday life without pain. We use this whole body approach every visit in order to measure your progress toward your goals.  We don't rely on saying "rest and take some medication" and hope it goes away after a couple of months.

You don’t have to sacrifice the lifestyle you want, your workouts, and your long term health over problems that can be fixed. That’s why we made this free guide just for you.

You see, everyone with knee pain in Manhattan and Brooklyn asks us the same questions…

  • Why does my knee pain hurt so much? (I don’t even know what I did…)
  • Why isn’t this knee pain going away?
  • Am I going to have to live with knee pain forever?

We have good news: you don’t have to “live with it”. There is still more that can be done and we’re here to show you the way.

Most people get stuck trying to make a decision about what to do next. They go days, weeks, months (even years!) without taking action.

The one thing we can guarantee is that by doing nothing, your knee pain won’t get better.

So the next important thing is to take action.
